It must be that time of the year again, Royal Mail staff are going on strike on Friday and according to the news British Airways staff are heading towards strikes in August. Workers should have the right to strike for better working conditions, pay etc. 9 times out of 10 they will have my full support but does anyone else get the feeling of de ja vu with all of this?
I understand peoples reasoning behind going on strike for various reasons but this is getting boring. Someone needs to get a grip on this and get it sorted. The business can't operate without it's staff, the staff loose pay, customers get irritated and use alternative means. No one wins! I am assuming that Royal Mail staff are well paid because they seem to be happy to loose god knows what in wages with all of these strikes. Yes they should fight for better working conditions and we all support them in that but everyone needs to remember the public support they have has a limit.
